ShushCon is still scheduled to run March 27-29, though we are keeping an eye on recommendations from federal, state, and local agencies.

Some activities are being removed from the schedule because they specifically represented higher potential risks. This unfortunately means we won’t be offering any VR events as part of ShushCon proper, though VR Collection Development, Care and Maintenance will still be covered as part of the Video Game related professional development sessions on Friday Morning.
Suggestions for the event:
We do not recommend attendees play games like A’writhe, Happy Salmon, Twister, or Yogi, that specifically require close physical contact.
If you play RPGs and dice games consider bringing your own dice, and dice tray to roll in, instead of sharing dice from a common pool. We should have a vendor on-site selling dice sets, but this is an excellent opportunity to show off your favorite sets.
As we get closer to the event we will have further updates, and suggestions on how to get the most out of the weekend while having a safe play experience.
ShushCon is a games and geekery convention March 27–29, 2020 at the Waccamaw Neck Branch Library in Pawleys Island, SC. For more information visit shushcon.com or contact ddennis@gtcounty.org
